Comparison of several different biomass briquettes

Biomass fuels are diverse, and different raw materials are suitable for producing different finished fuels, and it is also necessary to choose different equipment to prescribe the right medicine. By comparing different raw materials and finished products, we need to choose a more suitable production plan according to local conditions to achieve ideal economic benefits.

1. Wood chips are a very simple type of biomass fuel, commonly used in the raw material preparation section of various power plants. The threshold for wood chip production is low in all aspects, and the raw materials are not subject to various restrictions. Whether it is logs, tree branches, demolition materials, or waste furniture, wood-based panels, and waste pallets, they are all ideal raw materials. These raw materials can be used to produce high-quality wood chips by using the integrated crusher directly. Although the investment cost of raw materials and equipment for the production of wood chips is relatively low, wood chips are relatively loose and not very resistant to burning, so they are widely used in coal-fired coupled biomass technology.

2. Pellets Wood chips and straw pellets are an excellent biomass fuel. Not only do they inherit the excellent characteristics of the raw materials (no pollution, high calorific value, and low ash content), they are also widely praised for their high density and combustion resistance. Generally, wood pellets are mostly used in industrial centralized combustion for power generation and heating, while straw pellets are usually used in rural households and retail households to replace loose coal. Because the pellets have a high density and occupy a small space, its storage cost is much lower than wood chips, and the transportation cost is more favorable. Therefore, the production of pellets has become a very good principle, but we must pay attention to the waterproof storage of pellets and avoid contact with liquid water or stacking in an overly humid environment.

3. Briquetting is a new type of biomass molding method. The size requirements of raw materials are not as strict as those of pellets, and the density is relatively small. However, the molding is easy to not loose, and the combustion effect is excellent. It is also widely favored by the industry. Briquetting is usually divided into extrusion type, stamping type and hydraulic type. Among them, extrusion and stamping are widely used in China because of the high output and high power; and Europe has mature hydraulic technology and very low power consumption, so hydraulic The briquetting market is better.
